BONSAI IN 1:12 SCALE

Building
some miniatures of Bonsai is a really funny work.
Considered that Bonsai already are miniatures by definition, realizing some
"miniatures of the miniatures" has been a beautiful challenge.
I hope that the result can be considered as satisfactory!
The idea was born during a walk in the mountain, observing the amazing details every single kind of moss can reproduce. So I begun to distinguish them and recognize, in each of them, a different kind of leaf. From there to the idea of exploiting these "natural mini-leaves" to realize plants in miniature the step has been short. The plant structure is natural too (true annoyed branches).
The vases, true reproductions of vases for Bonsai, are realized by me, modelled to hand with Das, then enamelled or painted with acrylic colours which simulate the Gres.
